From the French, it means “Répondez, s’il vous plaît,” or, “Please reply.”

Your presence has been requested at an event and you are just about sure you want to go. What's next?

Considerate responses are the most important part of the event. Your Host/Hostess has invested a lot of time, energy and money to make this a memorable event.

RSVP no later than the date stated on the invite

If you are unable to attend let the host/hostess know immediately

If you are bringing an additional guest/guests, make sure you also RSVP for them too

If your plan changes and you have to cancel, let the host/hostess know ASAP

Be on time.

Be gracious and have fun!
